Default Which mod is more useful and effective?

When it comes down to warrior armours, theres a specification on the ascalon set which says "Reduced damage from physical attacks" whereas on other armor sets, theres the +10/15/20 DEF vs. Physical attacks. This did peak my curiousity when I thought about it, but I couldn't come to a conclusion which was even better (/sarcasm). How much % wise does the ascalon set reduce, or armor does it add? Are the armors with +defense better than the "reduce damage" specification?

Thanks

FG

This has been discussed a little and I don't have a high level warrior and can't tell you for sure... but I believe having one piece of the "Reduced damage from physical attacks" gives you the maximum effect from it. It should stack with the Absorbtion Rune that has the same effect which also gives the maximum effect by putting it on just one piece of armor. So getting some gloves or leggings that don't get hit much with "Reduced damage from physical attacks" then going for the highest armor on other pieces seems like the best way to do it.

BTW, try not to post the same question twice... If it's really bothering you thta much just go out and test it.
